God Is Love
Since there is so much inaccurate information on the internet, we very much appreciate the effort made to visit our web page for a better understanding of our faith and message. Our highest, most important belief, is that GOD IS LOVE.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the bible as the only source of our beliefs. As outlined in the Protestant conviction, "Sola Scriptura," the Bible is the source of both faith and practical application to the lives of Christians, even in today's world.
There are 28 fundamental beliefs for the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. These beliefs can be organized into six categories or doctrines pertaining to:
- God
- Man
- Salvation
- The Church
- Christian Life
- Last Day Events
Within each category we find God as the architect; who in wisdom, grace and infinite love is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
Each of the beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist church is meant to influence and impact every aspect of our daily life. As we study the Bible on a daily basis we find that compelling portrait of God, who desires to lead us into a close relationship with Him. Our Lord and Savior invites us to experience that blessing that comes from accepting His Grace and to seek His guidance in our daily lives.
The members of the Beaverton Seventh-day Adventist church are excited about the Good News of Jesus Christ. We gladly accept His Free Gift of Salvation and look forward with eager anticipation to His Second Coming and soon return to take His children home.
