Community Services

For those facing financial hardship in providing basic services for their family, our church offers food, clothing and other basic necessities to those in need. This active community service program is known as the Beaverton Adventist Community Services, which is a subset of the national Adventist Community Services organization.

The Beaverton Seventh-day Adventist Church Community Services has a food pantry and a free clothes closet.  We are open for these services every Tuesday from 9am till 12.  The location is in the back of the church (north end) near the lower parking area.

We try to provide dignity for everyone. Through an interview process we give the client a choice of the different food items that are available each week.  If necessary, sometimes we refer them to another agency which can provide a specific request.  Every client is viewed as unique.  We try to serve our clients respectfully and with patience.

Our Clothes Closet has gently used clothing for children, men, and women. We carry some dishes, tableware, sometimes diapers, detergent, shampoo, and personal care items.

WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY PROVIDER.

Our volunteers make new quilts and sell them as they are available. The proceeds go back into the Community Service Center to buy food.
