Adventurer Club

The Adventurer Club is a program for young children created by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, similar to Scouts.

Inspired by its "older brother", the Pathfinder Club, the Adventurer Club is a program focused on educating kids about God and Nature through fun activities with their friends.  Adventurer Club is designed for children aged 4–10 years of age.  There are 6 classroom divisions under Adventurer Ministries.

  • Little Lambs - Pre-k (Ages 4-5)
  • Eager Beavers - K (Ages 5-6)
  • Busy Bee - Grade 1 (Ages 6-7)
  • Sunbeam - Grade 2 (Ages 7-8)
  • Builder - Grade 3 (Ages 8-9)
  • Helping Hands - Grade 4 (Ages 9-10)

Our Adventurer clubs meet one Sabbath per month for a joint potluck with the Pathfinder Club with Adventurer class meetings @ 2pm.  They also have one scheduled field trip on the 4th Sunday of the month.
For more information about the club, please email beavertonadventurers@gmail.com.

Tualatin Valley Academy

Tualatin Valley Academy is a high quality, affordable Seventh-day Adventist Christian school located in the heart of Hillsboro, Oregon. Serving students from Preschool through 10th grade, TVA's mission is to root students in faith for courageous living, innovative learning and servant leadership. This is accomplished through project-based learning, experiential education, STEAM education, and mentoring at all age levels.

At TVA, students are family. Small class sizes allow for students to be truly known by their teachers, who mentor them. Students are also encouraged to step into leadership roles in a variety of settings: older students mentoring younger students, students leading out at chapel no matter their age, and students leading in a variety of ways during team activities or sports.

At the end of the day, TVA's vision is to graduate confident, innovative world changers who are spiritually grounded and intellectually versatile. Christian leaders start here.

American Girl Doll Book Club

American Girl Book Club is starting up again!  This year’s club will be led by Renee Bredall & Heidi McGill.  We will meet one Sunday of each month, dates and times may vary to accommodate various activities and schedules.  Your child is welcome to bring their favorite doll to each club time (Any doll/brand is acceptable, this club is not exclusive to AG dolls).

Our first meeting will be on April 19th @ 3 pm, in the Kindergarten Room at the church.  We will be introducing the character of our first book, Kaya, and doing a fun craft.
